A armored truck raced down the road, just barely staying ahead ofr the multitude of robots at it's back,and the mix of laser blasts and bullets directed at it's wheels,as a guard fires back, the bark of a rifle sounding out. Above floated a strange hovercraft,and inside was a bald, somewhat menacing,but also slightly ridiculous man clad in typical mad scientist apparel, a large nose over large, groomed red mustachios and a pair of steampunk-esque goggles over his beady eyes,which were fixed upon the screens,fingers stroking one of the mustachios nervously. "Blast it...make them pull over, my metal minions! This chase has gone on long enough!" He glanced speculatively over at the blue haired boy, clad in sterile white clothing and a high tech collar, before shaking his head. No..Shock Hunter was his absolute last resort. At the moment, he was better as a shield then a thrown spear...Hmph, to use a rather primitive saying. As his attention goes back to the screen, the chase continues. TAGS Jennifer NOTES ---

Out of curiosity Jenny had decided to check out what exactly this Jump city was having heard much about the protectors there, though as she looked outside of the window as the train was lowering its speed a bit to be able to stop when it got there she noticed an armored truck being chased by some magical craft and metal warriors. Narrowing her eyes she rushed to the back of the train and put on her boot to her costume and gloves as she opened a side door that was meant for emergencies. she out on her mask allowing her costume to form over top of her usual clothes as her hair fell from its vanishing hair ties down to her side in the hair style she was very known for among her people. She let energy flow into it to turn it light blue along with her eye holes. She looked down seeing the man in the magical craft shouting at the metal warriors… he was their commander… if she attacked him the others would likely be drawn to her and leave the truck be. She jumped out and formed 2 katanas in her hand holding them back handed as she focused carefully and slowed her fall as she landed on corgi’s magical craft. She looked up from her perching pose to see Toji. His hair… eyes…. Looks….he… his soul didn't show up for her in her sight but he was still likely at least part of her family right? She couldn’t think of any human or demon that could look that much like her peo- She froze seeing the collar then back to his eyes… he was being controlled… She Slowly looked to Corgi as she spoke in a light Japanese accent while she stood up straight. ”You toxic worm of a human flesh bag…. You enslaved one of my own….” She twirled in her hand one of her swords and held it normally as she pointed it at his throat. ”I suggest you start explaining before I end you, you pathetic trash…. I do not tolerate the enslavement of children...” She spoke with venom in her voice to him to show she was not to be messed with. TAGS Toji NOTES ---

Corgi stroked his mustachios, frowning as his robots fail to stop the truck as soon as he'd like. "Hmph...Note to self, design better vehicle busting bots..." He sighs as another shot misses,rubbing his nose. "And make sure to upgrade their tracking ability...If you rusty bags of bolts don't do this right,I'm scrapping every single one of you!!! Right to the scrap pile you'll go, you hear me?!" Sitting back into his chair as he finishes shouting at the robots, he gave another annoyed grump, only to blink as a young woman lands on his hovercraft."Eh?" Examining her, he paled and sweat beaded on his bald dome at noticing the similarities to his 'pet', and the strange katanas made of energy. Oh...nononono! Shock Hunter's family had finally found them! He...he was going to be turned into human stew,or worse! Toji,meanwhile, turned his gaze to her, looking at her blankly.Gulping as she examines the boy, he lets out a squeak as she slowly turned her gaze back to him, sweating even more as the tip of one of the katanas aims itself at his throat. Raising shaking hands, he gives her a grin. "B-but of course! I'd be happy to-DEFEND, PET!!" Receiving the order, the boy hops up, attempting to strike at her with a open palm blow and push her off. ”You’re more pathetic then i thought! I’d call you a waste of living tissue but that would insult the worst of the worse of your kind! You sad miserable excuse of a man!” Jenny shouted as she heard him order Toji. She eyed his form as she moved under his arm. ”Do not worry child I’ll free you…. With as little arm to you…” She said as she absorbed her katanas and moved up to ram her shoulder into his bicep and if she managed to she would grab onto his forearm and torso as she would throw him into the side of the hovercraft. ”You are a fool to think a young child with no proper training and the lack of a burning flame to fight would stand a chance against one of the most well renown fighters of his people!” She shouted as she reformed a katana and re aimed it at Corgi. ”He will never win.. And the longer you force this child to fight me and get harmed the worse the outcome will be for you! STAND HIM DOWN!” She shouted as her eyes and hairs glowed brighter and tilted her head to the side a bit. ”If you do so… and cooperate… I may be merciful to you despite your shameless actions... ” She said to him in a cold tone as she looked at toji with just her eyes so it looked like she was still staring at Corgi due to her mask. ”(Do not worry boy…. I will return you to whatever home you call as such…. For now I want you to fight…. Think of your family, those who hold you dear to their heart and you hold them to yours… remember their loving embrace… the warmth of their love as it flows over you…)" "(Fill your soul and being with that warmth burn it brighter and brighter until it turns into a weapon for you to hold, fuel its power with the passion you hold for the things you love to do most…until its power over flows and shines brighter than the shroud that device holds over you. Remember that power you hold over your body not the power he thinks he has… and spite this man… by telling him your name.)" The first step to freedom is that towards your own weapon!)” She called out to Toji in Japanese, he was just a child, but she knew from her own experiences that with the right guidance, any child can fight past impossible odds. So she gave him the speech that her first instructor gave her… before his life was ended. No wiser words have ever been spoken by a dying man, or at least to her. She just hoped that she could give this boy the same will to fight that the words gave her. While hopefully scaring Corgi since he would likely think she was ranting something mysterious off at him since it still looked like she was staring him down into his very being. Corgi bristled at the insults that Jenny fired at him, goggles catching the light ominously for a second. "You...you little..."As Jenny addressed him, promising to free him, the boy slowed his attack slightly, and then he was tossed. Landing, Toji lay there for a very brief second,then hopped back up, regarding Jenny blankly as he begins to approach her...Corgi, pale from the threats and the glowing hair and eyes, yelled."HEEL!" He paused in place,and the man grinned nervously, stroking his mustachios. "See? We..we can be reasonable, my de-" Then she begins,seemingly, ranting at him.Corgi shuts up, and frowns in suppressed fury,and not so suppressed fear...or rather terror. How dare this little witch, demon or no, dare to threaten him?!Though...he had no shot against her at the moment.Staying in place, the boy shows no signs of hearing her, but Jenny might be able to detect a rather slight softening of his stance as she speaks on.As the rant ends, the madman gathers enough courage to speak up. "Now s-see here!! You're interupting business of m-mine and P-pe-"A soft, struggling voice interrupts him. "To...ji." The man's eyes widen,and he turns his head to look at the boy."What?!" Toji had taken a step forward, a small spark of life back in his eyes and speaking out past the Collar. "Name...Toji...N-not...Pet...O-or....Shock Hunter..." Corgi blinks,then his eyes narrow behind the goggles, shaking hand slowly closing into a fist...and surreptitiously activating a button in the glove that'd call the bots back towards his direction. ”You little what?! Go on say it unless you're too scared you can't fight back against me!” She threatened hostilely. She pressed the blade against his throat to where it would barely not hurt him as Toji neared though stopped moving it closer when she heard he made him heel and began to talk to toji. She continued on seeing his chance and thought encouraging thoughts as she continued hoping that he would be able to break free. Hearing him speak up she then roared ”Do I look like i care about your business you stuttering foolish man?! DO you have no soul?! You enslaved a CHILD! You hurt him! You are lucky i do not slowly slice pieces of you off and stop you from bleeding out so you have a slow and painful death! Humans like you should learn that they are less than trash!” She paused hearing toji say his name and nodded softly. ”A wonderful name that you should take pride in.” he said softly to him. She grinned looking at him with her eyes only still. ”That's right, you are a warrior, not a slave...” She absorbed her swords and grabbed corgi by his throat if she could and walked up to the edge of the magical craft and held him off the edge. ”I can survive a fall from this high but i doubt you can… you have a few options… attack me with something or someone else like a shameless fool… and allow me to kill you because you gave me reason to… shout at me and make me angry and i make your death as slow as i can… I’ve fought in 3 different wars…" "Trust me when i say that I know many ways to make you wish for death…. And finally which is preferable to you… Release the boy… and be knocked out and left her safely in your ship…. Corgi snarled, getting ready to launch a really nasty insult at her, only to freeze in place as the blade presses into his neck. Never less, he bristled. It was clear that his ego and pride did not like this, not at all. Paling at the threats leveled towards him, the man felt stung enough to respond, regardless. "Soul? Soul?! Ha!!! I can ask the same! After all, neither of you are human! As far as I'm concerned, he only looks like a child! And with even his lesser abilities,he makes such a good bodygaurd, hmmhmmhmm!! Hmph...that is when he isn't being disobedient." As Jenny spoke to him, the spark in Toji's eyes lightened up a bit more,and he takes another shaky, struggling step forward, causing Corgi to scowl. The man yelped as he was picked up, and instinctively grabs at the girl's wrists,choking. Freaking bots...Hurry up!!Paling at the threats, he growled. Blast it all...He couldn't lose, he couldn't!! Hearing the slight hiss of robotic pistons, the man blinked,then sneered. "Oh, but of course, my dear.Here's my decision...Code Omega!!" Hearing the activation code, the robot activated a laser sight, and the red dot danced over Toji's temple as the metal menace aimed it's ranged weapon at his head."Oh,whoops!!! I misspoke it seems, hmmhahahaha!If you drop me, or otherwise harm me, now, my robot's trigger finger will slip, and that poor poor boy will suffer a painful fate." You insult me… and just lost the rest of my patience….” She said out stretching her arm towards toji and at the same time as dropping him she made a bubble forcefield that hugged the shape of toji and would block the laser just fine. She walked over toji as she shot out a full powered energy blast from her other hand at the robot to shoot it down. She then kneeled down and lowered the force field and gently kissed his forehead and gently held his head with one hand as she spoke in japanese to him. ”(You’re safe now child…)” She started to find a way to remove it before quickly turning and blocking a drop kick with her fore arm made by Miley and narrowed her eyes. ”Feecon….” TAGS Toji NOTES No prob nor worries xp I thought of a way to tie them in after realizing that Jenny would just get fed up and drop him soooo I tossed them in so i dont rescue toji too soon for you. As Corgi fell he would feel himself being caught and would land softly on the ground with Astrid holding him. “I warned you about those pesky family members didn’t I?” She said with a warm smile as she sat him down and grabbed Miley as she leapt at her in a bob cat form and threw her up towards the hovercraft.and when she got there she shifting into her human form and drop kicked jenny who blocked it with her arm. “Necowl..." She pulled her foot off and looked to toji then back to her “We have a plan in progress to get this one from corgi… he should be out by the end of the month… I’m sure you want blood for his actions but my grandmother and I would like to ask you to allow us to take him out first before you kill his captor…" "If you agree we will inform you of what you would need to do now… and inform you of where to meet us… that and you will not have to fight me… and we both know your kind does not have a good track record with mine… especially ones with your power set..." Astrid smiled to Corgi as she looked up at the craft “Miley should be wrapping up the fight with the girl here in a moment or so… it may take a bit longer than usual… you know how cats like to play with their prey…” She looked back to him. “While she works i would like to talk to you about an offer of mine I would like to give you a small fighting force tailored to be far deadlier than your pet all on their own individual selves.they will be tailored as well for killing your pet’s kind... The one up there has already likely alerted his kind to meet up with he and her so that they can celebrate a child's return using their kinds link that they develop when they are close to maturing… When she and he do not arrive… They will likely all come out to find you… and clearly you can find you… If you accept my deal you will have a force stronger than you do now to protect yourself…. You you would have to do in return is hand the boy to me… I have found myself in a position where having a boy like him around would make things far better. Corgi listened to what she had to say, the rage filled snarl on his face fading just a tad,as if he was actually considering what horrible things he'd done to Toji...then the snarl comes back full force, as the man ignores what ephinany, if any, he'd been about to have. "You have the gall to lecture me on morality? Hmmhmmhahahahaha!!! As if I'd listen to you!! 'He's a child, consider what you've done, prove me wrong, blahblahblah!!' It doesn't matter!!! I know you've already decided to kill me anyway, you foolish girl! I don't like or even respect my fellow humans, so why should I have any care for freaks, monsters, like you two? Hmm? Answer me that!!" Sheer anger and spite dripped from his words as he responded to her speech. At the demand to not call her dear, the evil male responded with a hateful, insulting hand sign,only to pale slightly as she stared at him. That look...it sent shivers up and down his spine, for some thrice blasted reason..It wasn't as if he could even see her eyes,so why?!His own eyes widen at her response to his plan, and he scrabbles at her wrist, trying to get a better grin. However, that doesn't help, and the madman plummets...only to be caught by Astrid. Glancing at her, Corgi sighs in relief,and nods in agreement. "Hmph, so you did. And you were very much right. She's even managed to subvert my pet's Collar a tad!!" He adjusts his clothing,muttering angrily under his breath.Meanwhile, the robot's energy gun hummed, then shot at Toji's head,only for the beam to be splintered apart as it met a forcefield. As Jenny destroyed the robot,then lowered said forcefield to hold his head, the boy very slightly leans into it, obviously still struggling to keep what little control he'd earned.Hope wasadded to the small spark in his eyes as the girl tinkers with the collar. Then Miley appears,gaining Jenny's attention. At the comment of cats liking to play with their food, Corgi snarled. "She can play all she likes. I hope that...girl suffers for this humiliation I've felt. How dare she interfere to such a extent..." He gets ready to descend into a rant filled with insults and other such unsavory things, only to quiet down as Astrid makes a offer to him. He listens, stroking his mustachios in consideration. "Hmm..." On one hand...he'd be forced to give up a mostly loyal defender,and he wasn't quite sure he wanted to trade Toji in for a variety of biological horrors. Granted, his pet wasn't human himself,but at least he had the decency to actually look the part...Then again, it'd become quite obvious said boy was fast becoming more trouble then he was worth,and threatened to bring down monsters down on his majestic, precious head. "Hmm...I'm not sure, my dear...I do beleive I will agree, I'm most certainly leaning towards it,but I'd like a bit of time to fully consider. Perhaps get one last major heist out before I give my pet up. A final hurrah,if you will.That's after this current nonsense is settled, of course. I thank you for the offer." I am sorry for that but I assure you that here soon you’ll get your rightful fill that you deserve of this.)” She said sweetly running her thumb over his cheek gently before having needed to block Miley’s attack. Listening to her words she sighed but nodded. ”Fine… But If he is not freed in the time you have told me i will free him myself...” She said flatly before looking to toji and gently held his cheeks and pressed her forehead to his and spoke in Japanese again closing her eyes. ”(You will be free soon I promise… soon you will be free to do as you please… and you’ll be surrounded by people who could only love you, we will free you… and we will bring you to your caretakers who surely love you… and if you have no home… we will make you one...We will make up for whatever years you may have lost to this man… I vow to you this under my code of honor.)” She gently kissed his forehead and whispered into his ear. ”(Think only of what you will do when you are free and in no time you will be able to do what you planned to…)” She gently hugged him before pulling away and stood up looking to Miley who would give her a paper that she quickly looked over and put it in a hidden pocket under her armor and narrowed her eyes at her. ”You best keep him safe Feecon.” Jenny said coldly before walking up to the edge of the hovercraft and letting herself fall off. As she fell she pulled her hood up and over her hair its mouth cover raising to cover her moth and the peak of the hood hiding her forehead back hiding some of the last remaining skin showing on her the only part of her face that could be seen now was the glowing blue eyes of her eye mask. As she neared the ground she rotated to land on her feet as she slowed her fall and landed into a tuck and roll. Seeing Corgi she narrowed her eyes. ”The countdown to the last breath you take starts now… these two won’t always be there watching over you….” Her feet started to glow before she sent off some energy blasts from them as she ran to simulate crazy fast super speeds as she left that area. “I’m not too surprised by that to be honest, their kind are notorious for such things when they are with their own kind due to their people giving each other will power and hope.” She said simply and respectfully with a nod. ”I’m sure she will…” She said simply in reply.Letting him think she nodded once he finished and smiled softly to him. “Take all the time you need Corgi, we both know well that the best plans of action are made when one is given time to properly think them all out.” Bowing her head to him she smiled a bit more “You’re very welcome Corgi.” Watching Jenny land and speak before running off She smiled a bit more. “Ah you had a Warrior on your tail it seems, they are best in combat rather than just focusing on speed. You may want to have some more guards around you at all times." "When their warriors say things like that they tend to come back over and over till their target is taken out. Their warrior are trained to only need about an hour of sleep every few days so I wouldn’t be too surprised if she tried to come over and over until your guards or you are too tired to function any longer.” Astrid said simply as Miley eyed Toji a bit. Sighing a little, she walked over to him and pat his head. She felt bad about postponing his freedom… she really did… but it was needed. “(Soon pup… Soon…)" She said in his natural tongue in a kind and reassuring way before picking him up and making her way down by hopping on surrounding bot’s heads till she found herself low enough to just right to the ground. She then walked over to the two and set Toji down by Corgi and bowed to him slightly. “I stopped her before she could tinker too much with the collar." She said simply as Astrid smiled warmly to her. “Such a good girl.” Looking back to Corgi she smiled to him next. “Is there anything else you need assistance with before we head out Corgi/? Corgi frowned, stroking his mustache angerly. "I see, I see....How...irritatingly noble of them." Blast that girl...Now he had to figure out how to tighten his hold on the boy's will. Hmph...knew he should've kept the blueprints to that collar. Oh well...The mad man was sure things will work out. They better, at least. Meanwhile, Toji slowly, shakily looks up at Jenny with eyes that continue to have that spark, though it's clear he's still struggling to keep control of himself. He was barely hanging on as is.Listening to the two older girls, the boy manages to frown a little. He...wanted free now... However, as Jenny pressed her forehead into his and made the promise that he will be free, completely and utterly, she would feel his head move in a very shakey and hesitant nod. As she walks away and falls down, the spark in his eyes begins to fade again, pulsing one last time with the head pat and reassurance, and then reassuming the dead, neutral look as they arrive on the ground. As he's threatened again, Corgi pales,but snarls at her."Me and my upgraded bots will be waiting for you, girl. Oh,and my dear pet,too,hmmhmmhmm!" That oughta put some gum in her gears. Glancing at Astrid as she speaks up, he pales some more, sweating a little, but frowns."Hmph...we'll just have to try and take her down,then! That,or get to a place we can't be found....Hmmm...." As Miley arrives with Toji and sits him down the mad sceintist, Corgi gives the boy a angry scowl."Treachous little hound...Ah well, we'll fix that, now won't we..." Returning the girl's bow slightly, he pulls up his sleeve,revealing a arm mounted computer. Pulling out a cord,he plugs it into the Collar,and begins typing one handed,trying to figure out how exactly his pet had managed to push past the programming. This device's original creature swore it was foolproof,before he got a plasma ball to the face,that is...Glancing at Astrid,the man stroked his mustache thoughtfully. “True but subjects being noble can be very helpful for people like my grandaughter and I, it’s far easier to bulk buy when you have a large supply coming in just waiting to be killed skinned tested and eaten.” Astrid said with a chuckle. Miley couldn’t help but frown slightly at the sight of the two as they did their best to, stay in control, and to comfort the other. Astrid nodded seeing the girl leave seeming unfazed from Corgi’s threat and looked over to him once again. “Indeed, I’m sure you’ll do just fine knowing that brilliant mind of yours.” She complimented with a nod and soft smile. She then looked to the boy and kneeled down. “That would certainly help keeping this one in check which would very much help one of your issues.” She said looking to him to see if she could take a look at the collar before looking it over carefully, Toji would likely notice her eyes locking on each part of the collar that needed to be released to break it off before pretending to look at other things as her hands gently brushed his neck and head that would feel like soft pets but look like nothing more than just her looking over the device. “I think that the device may have only anticipated his initial fights that he would have as a younger child while now he is going to be nearing maturity. Which means his emotions growing, and strength. His people's puberty for children is much like human males. Which as you may remember can cause a lot of changes in many parts of the body which if a programming only expects the body to react one way it's hard for it to adapt thinking that the body needs to be worked one way when it suddenly does the other. I would suggest trying to implement measures for all ways most of his kind changes to during this time. That way no matter which way he ends at its covered.” She knew like it wasn’t this… or at least this.
