App Bumps: You may post bump, or you message a staff member about your app only after your app has been left without updates from staff for at least a week. If it takes a few days that may be due to the staff being busy on site or in real life. Please do not rush the staff because that will only likely demotivate them from actually getting to your app. When reminding please do so respectfully, If it has been a week the staff may have just over looked it and if the staff member you messaged doesn't have time to do it they may very well ask for another staff member to pick it up for them. Please also note, on your end if your app has not been updated while in WIP or in mid being checked, for 1 month it will get a message asking for one and if you remain without update for another 2 weeks it will be moved to the graveyard.
Warnings: If you break a rule to a notable degree you will be reported to a staff member who can add warning points onto your profile. Each time you break a rule you will gain another warning point. If you number starts to get too high the staff will be forced to take more drastic measures to get you to straighten your act up, or even have to ban you if you have proven to be too bad of a member. Your warning count will never be brought lower, so imagine it as your permanent record from school that actually will bite you in the butt if it gets too big.
Inactive: If a character of yours has not posted at all in 2 months it will be placed in the inactive area. Until you message a staff member to get it re-approved you may not RP with the character. If you want to alter anything about it at that point you may upon request and when it is re-approved you may RP once again with the character.
Multiple Accounts: Here at TP we have members create an account for OOC things such as the OOC chat, games, and creating apps. Once one of their characters are approved they may make another account that is named after their character. They will then used that account to post for that said character only. This is to keep everything divided correctly. You will only need to use one email address to do this so do not worry about making several emails for each character. Look to the guide book if you do not know how to do this.
Character Limits: For the start of the site, from now up till the end of May members will be allowed their first 3 slots free. If you post your app before the end of May you do not need to post count required to get that character. Look below for the post count requirements for each slot. To get each slot you just need to post up your app and at the end list all your current characters, staff will add up all of their posts and if you meet the needed number your character will be allowed to be used and approved.
The Committed Active Member Slot means that you are now able to make as many characters as you want without any more need for more posts. You have proven yourself to be a member that will stick around and be active. There are some restrictions but as long as you don't bite off more than you can chew then this should not be an issue. You are permitted to make a new character after 2 weeks of your last character being approved. This is so that staff members do not get bogged down with character apps and so that we don't focus too much time on members with 10+ characters and have no time to check out members with only 1 or 2.
When you hit this level you will be marked with a new group level star that tells the staff quickly of your status. When activity checks happen staff will check how many of your characters are inactive and how many are active. If 60% or more of your characters are inactive you will be unable to get a new character until you either drop some of your characters and or become active again with the ones you have not been active with. This way we don't keep getting more characters that will just lay around while more characters go inactive. If you do not bite off more than you can chew, this again, should be of no trouble to you.
Loopholes: If you spot a loop hole in a rule and are thinking about exploiting it, don't. If you try to do so you will still get in trouble for the rule you attempted to break, but will get in far worse trouble. It is not worth it so don't do it.
Cursing: Cursing is permitted to any level, have fun. The only restriction being you can not curse at others with the intent of hurting them or making them feel bad in some manner, it's not cool and not needed. If you meant it as a joke and hurt someone anyways, apologize, as long as it doesn't happen over and over again you'll be just fine.
Respecting Staff And Their Choices: Each staff member has been trained to do their job and to get where they are now. Respect them and their choices. If you feel like you are being harassed or a staff member is abusing their powers gather your evidence with screen shots or other means and contact a staff member of higher ranking. They will look into it and handle the situation as needed. Explain the situation to them respectfully and calmly. No one is going to come out feeling better if you come at them in a hostile manner.
Double Posting: Double posting is okay if it's a thread in OOC chat or Games where that may be expected. In Solo stories you can double post but only if it is actually needed. If you just post over and over with short posts you will be told to edit and move your post into the main one and asked to delete your old post. If it happens again staff will do so for you after another warning. If this becomes a reoccurring issue you may be informed that for X amount of time you may not post in solo stories based on how many times you did this.
Drama: If you need to talk about irl issues that's fine, we're all here for you, but if you are just trying to start drama in whatever manner you will be asked to stop. If this persists you will likely be banned from chat, or wherever you were starting drama. Many of us here are from sites that suffered from members starting drama for random reasons and killed the fun of the site for us. We do not want this happening here, and will not tolerate people who join only to start fights and drama. This is a place of fun not a reality TV show.
