The Awakened Few: Jump City #1 Part 1 (Open)

[Event Npc Man]

A beam of light stuck down at city hall making a shock wave shoot through the room itstruck down in sending objects and people flying, some even shooting right out of the windows of the room and crashed into trees that had been placed around the lot.

2...

A beam of light struck down out side of a gas station sending cars flying into the gas pumps and caused them to explode and turned the location into a massive explodion on the entire block.

3...

A beam of light struckdown by the bay in the water making the water sink down before raising massively high into the air as it picked up many people. It moved forward and crashed down into the beach as many people drowned in the water that got sent under the water while others were thrown into the sand that from their height turned into heard ground while the water crushed them.

The story begins...

The light slowly faded leaving behind a woman, the mayor's wife. She looked onwards as her eyes started to glow a grey color before she roared out as security rushed in to see what had happened. The woman whipped her arm at the security as she shouted out sendign a shock wave out wards sendign the security through the wall.

2...

The beam of light faded and let a small 5 year old little boy coughing as fires bruned brightly and high into the air. His skin no wlooking like multen rock and like it was exploding over and over again from the inside. Cars slowed to a stop in a shock as police started to rush out to the area. The boy looked down at some rubble and picked up a piece curiously before it started to glow brightly. He grinned widely then before laughing and throwing it at the cars before it went off like a grenade and exploded 3 cars that formed into a much larger explosion.

The beam of light faded as a colom of water rose into the airwith a teen girl on top of it twirling with her eyes closed. She slowly opened her eyes to look down at the horrified intividulas at the docks and beach around her and tilted her head to one side beforeraising her arm making a large some of water raise into the air before throwing her arm forward at some people on the docks and the water shot out at them like a fire hyrant hose and shattered bones as it shot them into the water where they were stuck spinnign rapidly so they couldnt swim up. A few moments later... their bodies would raise motionless to the surface.

You do not have to fight them, you can do what ever you wish here, if you don't fight npc's will resolve the fights so you can freely do as your please. [Taloness]

Taloness, new to Jump City, was on the prowl. There were definitely more criminals here than her home, but she took it as a welcome challenge. The more crime, the more practice for a rising vigilante. At least, that's what the optimist in her was saying as she jumped across rooftops looking for anything exciting. In hindsight, a police scanner or something might help, but for now--
her thought was cut off by the start of the chaos. Three beams of light fell from the sky, and screams echoed out. It seemed that Taloness was officially on the clock. She rushed towards the nearest one, her trained eyes scanning for information.

She arrived shortly at City Hall, seeing injured people laying around the building and hearing a commotion inside. She didn't know any medic techniques, so she figured she'd let the ambulances handle the injured when they got there. For now, she settled for scaling the wall and surveying the damage inside.

Once in, she quickly noticed that there were attackers. She say the girl and the hole in the wall with a recovering security guard on the other side and put two and two together.

"Well, I don't suppose we could talk this out, could we?" She tried, trowing her feather up casually and catching it with ease. "I'd rather wrap this up quick. This seems to be a synchronized attack, no?"

[Toxin]

Toxin coughed, black smoke rushed up through her burning lungs and came out as a harsh barking sound. Groaning, she crawled out from underneath a heavy slab of metal. Although it had done some damage, as observed by several parts of her body protesting the movement in pain, the metal had probably been the only reason Toxin had survived the blast. Slowly, Toxin rose to her legs, gaining strength with every second. Blinking some smoke and debris out of her eyes, Toxin found that the once reliable albeit questionably 'clean' gas station she stopped by on the way home from work, had been transformed into a veritable battleground. Police rushed around a boy, like blue ants circling a threat. The boy, who looked more like a lava rock humanoid, was Toxin's biggest concern. While she didn't have issues with children, she did have issues with children who tried to kill her. Angrily, Toxin drew her twin pistols and started firing them off. With each shot she took a step closer, steadily walking towards the boy. She cut through the crowds of fleeing civilians and panicked police like an avenging angle, her eyes focused on the goal. [Event Npc Man]

The woman's eyes narrowed on the new arrival and roared in reply to the girls question…. A very clear… no. The woman trembled in what looked like anger as she started to walk through the hole. The security guard gasped in pain as she looked up at her with one eye shut the other squinted in pain. He was unable to stand after the blow. “Synchronized att-?”

Before he could finish asking his radio went off “There's an attack on the city! Pget the mayor and his wife to safety there's no telling if they’ll come after them!” He narrowed his eyes and cursed. As the woman stopped walking and pulle dout his radio with his good arm “The attack is already here too… and… the mayor's wife seems to be the one attacking…” He said looking to the girl to show he was trying to tell her this information too before thw woman rose her arm to swing again.

The boy grinned As he was surrounded and grabbed some pebbles from the ground and started to make them glow “Disarm yourself kid and surrender!” “We don't want to hurt you!” “Stand down!” THe police called out aiming their guns. THough when they heard bangs they fired off in shock all aiming at the boy who was hit by several bullets and dropped the pebbles that all went off all at once making the rubble around them fly off in all directions as the boy cried out in pain.

Though as the smoke from the explosions setted the boy would be crying out if still fired upon as the bullets shot into him he glowing brighter and brighter the color of his magma slowly starting to turn white with each bullet that entered him.

The girl with the water continued her assault until she was shot several times by snipers from afar making her fall into the water the distance she fell shattering many of her bones but knocking her unconscious. “Water dweller down, returning to base with the target now!” One of the snipers reported as men swarmed the beach to get to the girl in the water.

((OOC: So that Bloo can keep moving at her own pace Ache has moved into a separate thread for her half of the thread if either of you do something that would be noticeable by the other persons position I will add that into the post. (Ex: Toxin blows up half the city = Taloness would see Off in the distance the other half of the city go off in flames as the shock wave hits the surrounding buildings left standing.) If you two want or if its needed later on if you two are still both in part 1 phase and you want to regroup Ache will be able to move back over to this thread, though neither one of you will require the other to finish your own halves of the event.
