Characteristics
Personality: Blair has been trained in manners and proper behavior since she was old enough to respond to training, so she often reverts to this attitude when she's out and socializing. That being said, her stint as a thief has helped her conform to less upstanding situations, as well. You'll never catch her cursing, but in the right bar she might put her elbows on the table.
She's outgoing and adventurous, and though she is distrustful by nature once you've made a friend in her she will risk everything for you. She likes to help people, and she likes to make sure that her friends are happy. That said, it's hard to get her to open up to you. Usually, she keeps her identity a secret to everyone unless she absolutely must reveal it. Her outgoing and adventurous nature has also been known to get her to bite off more than she can chew.
Quirks, Ticks, and Habits: Blair is very particular about having her picture taken. Every picture taken of her in costume, her face is somehow hidden. Generally by her hood.
Fears: Failure.
Aspirations: Blair's father revealed to her that the title of Duchess of Tamriel is politically useless, short of attending big wig balls and the like, it comes with another mantle that her brother had taken. That of the Flying Talon. A vigilante hero from her hometown. She has adopted this title and wants to honor the name, so she left Tamriel to her brother and moved to Jump City to start her career of fighting crime.
Likes and Dislikes: Blair loves freerunning and the sensation of falling. She hates losing and being outwitted.

History
Blair was born into a rich and royal bloodline. They rule a small but incredibly wealthy island under the control of Brazil. The family has so much prominence that they were granted the titles of Duchess and Baron, based off their wealth and incredibly maintained city.
Blair's childhood was far from what you'd expect from a family of such wealth, though. She was trained lovingly but mercilessly under her father and the Chamberlain family that taught the Beauregard's self defense for generations. Since she was old enough to run, she'd been running laps. Since she was old enough to jump, she'd been trained to master the ability. She is light and powerful to a nearly inhuman degree. Her technique in martial arts is something that has been drilled into her since she was able to retain information.
Blair had no idea why these skills were so important in her family, so as soon as she was granted freedom from the family nest she made friends with her abilities. Thieving. With her charm and talent, Blair was an incredible talent at thieving. She quickly formed her own group, the Night Hawks, and they handled petty thievery around the island... that is, until they ran into The Flying Talon.
Something akin to Batman, the Talon dispatched Blair and her thug friends in the middle of a robbery. Though the girl put up an impressive fight against the hero, their skill nearly matched, she made simple mistakes that were punished too hard and she was apprehended.
She did not wake up in a jail cell with her other petty thieves, though. She woke back home, looking at her unmasked brother who wore the Talon's uniform and her father. They explained that the island was wealthy and crime free with the help of the Talon, something the eldest in the family inherited. It was a secret that they'd been ready to pass on to Blair, should something ever happen to her brother.
With this news, Blair surrendered her life of crime and began training with her new arsenal. Once she turned 17, though, the restlessness became too much for her. Taking her gear, she set out for a different city. Maybe one that needed a hero even more. She was going to create... the Taloness.
