There was something to be said for the subtleties of Jump City, Taloness mused as she ran through the night with ease. The way the California night were cool in stark contrast to the blistering days spent in heat. It made the costume a tad more bearable. Then the distant echoes of a victim screaming for help.

Yes, it was the subtleties of Jump City that really made the young vigilante appreciate the location.

She landed softly behind the scene, where some brutes had decided that they deserved the drunk mans wallet more than he did. The man, looking a mess that could hardly stand, probably had far too much, really... but nobody deserved this.

"This looks like a dinner date gone wrong if I've ever seen one before." Taloness spoke up, surprising the 3 would-be muggers. "Do you guys always pick out the pretty drunk frat boys to rob, or is he just special? Either way, it's his lucky day. He has a guardian angel."

Despite being smaller than the three men, in the fight that followed Taloness had absolutely no trouble. She broke wrists, and kicked out knees. It clearly was going in her favor.

Approaching footsteps sounded through the alley,and soon their owner appeared. It was a young man, wearing a long, sleeveless, and grey duster, hiking boots tapping against the pavement as cargo pants shushed quietly against the fabric of his coat. A lower face rave mask, with a led equalizer pattern, withheld his identity from the people in the alley. His eyes surveyed the scene, brows raising. "Three strong guys picking on a naive drunk and a pretty girl like her? For shame, guys, for shame. THough..." He laughs, eyes crinkling in amusement. "...to be honest, it looks like she's the one who's picking on you." Gamer continues approaching. "Want some help, beautiful? Granted, you probably don't need it,but I figure I might as well offer. Never have liked muggers. No class, you see."

(Sorry if he's not exactly the kind of charrie you wanted for this topic, Tal. Figured it was unfair leaving this unanswered,though, and my other charrie isn't ready for heroic hijinks.^^;; )
